Fresh Egg campaign increases conversions
21% increase in job applications for Badenoch & Clark and Office Angels after successful Fresh Egg CRO campaign.
Fresh Egg was tasked with finding a way to do this quickly and efficiently, and without spending a large budget on acquiring additional traffic to the sites.
Fresh Egg assessed the entire user journey on the Badenoch & Clark and Office Angel websites – from finding a relevant job vacancy through to successfully submitting an application. This was to identify any blockers that might prevent potential applicants from completing the process.
Streamlining the user journey
One such blocker was soon found. The job application page originally featured an ‘About You’ section, which required applicants to provide detailed information about themselves. Most of this information, however, was already included in the applicant’s CV, which users are also required to upload.
It was hypothesised that asking applicants to take the time to provide this information twice was putting some off.
Fresh Egg split tested the original versions of the sites against variations with the ‘About You’ sections removed.
The results showed a significant uplift in job application submissions with statistical confidence levels of 100%.
