SES London 2010 Preview

Jaamit Durrani

A very quick post before I get an early night to tell you all that I'll be attending the first day of Search Engine Strategies London 2010 tomorrow, and you'll be able to keep up with the coverage right here on the Fresh Egg blog as well as by following me on Twitter (depending on how well I can keep up with listening, tweeting, typing and drinking coffee).  Although I was lucky enough to go to the SEOmoz Pro Seminar in London last year, this will be my first time at one of the "big" SEO conferences (the other being SMX), and I'm really looking forward to it.  At the same time I'm a little wary, it has to be said, of hearing tips and techniques that have already been rehashed a hundred times on the SEO blog circuit.   But going from agenda there promises to be a lot of interesting discussion and hopefully a few new tidbits that I can share with the growing Fresh Egg team with our ongoing client work.   Even more than that I'm looking forward to meeting and chatting to some great SEOs and internet marketers who are at the top of their game.

Below is a list of the sessions I'm hoping to attend tomorrow.  The 'Industry Specific Search Strategies' session sounds like the highlight of the whole conference, with SEO heavyweights Dave Naylor, Rob Kerry, Richard Baxter and the guys from FireflySEO sharing experiences of ranking in the highly competitive travel, gambling, ecommerce and recruitment SERPs.  You can see full details of tomorrow's agenda for more info.

My SES London 2010 Agenda:

  1. Keynote: Ideas for Approaching Search Analytics Differently - Avinash Kaushik
  2. From Real-Time Search to Dynamic Discovery
  3. PPC or SEO? The Ultimate Search Marketing Battle
  4. Managing a Global SEO Campaign
  5. Industry Specific Search Strategies: Under the Hood

I'll leave it at that. Off to bed for a 5.30am start! :|
