Don't miss our FREE 20-minute talk on Wednesday 27 October at 3pm, where Strategy Director, Julian Erbsloeh will provide you with an update on where GA4 is today, discuss some of the pros and cons of the new platform and provide guidance on whether now is the right moment to start using it.

GA4 – is the new Google Analytics platform ready to support my business?

Google and various experts, consultants, and agencies are pushing businesses to migrate their measurement efforts from the tried and trusted Universal Analytics platform to the new Google Analytics 4, which launched exactly one year ago.

The platform has been heralded as a new era of web analytics by Google due to its event-based, more flexible data model and advanced machine learning functionality.

But even with the new upgrades, adoption has been slow, and many businesses are confused about whether or not they should be using it. Furthermore, the new user interface is not intuitive for regular users of Google Analytics, with many easy tasks in the existing version now cumbersome to perform.

In the session, we'll share:

  • A plain English overview of GA4 vs Universal Analytics features and capabilities
  • The technical capabilities required in your team for implementation and effective use of the data
  • An idea of training or R&D time needed to train team members
  • An overview of the support and documentation provided by Google and some key players in the analytics industry

At the end of the session, you'll be able to decide if you should start using GA4 now.
