Friday Social Round Up: Schmap, Google+ Get Creative, Guardian Bot and Google + Business Pages
Google + business pages to launch in the next few days?
While at iStrategy this week, Paul Tweeted:
That’s right; Yann Gourvennec, director of web & digital for Orange, might have let the cat out of the bag. I guess we will see in the next few days...
On Thursday the Guardian launched a Twitter-based search bot. @GuardianTagBot allows users to search for content on The Guardian’s website by tweeting a question or keyword to it. The bot will then tweet back with a link to a page on the Guardian website with all the search results.
Nina Lovelace, content and development manager at the Guardian Group, was keen to point out that TagBot was “not Siri” and is specifically a search tool so would struggle with personal queries such as “Will you marry me?”
Schmap is coming soon to a town near you.
