Fresh Egg Scoops Double Silver at the 2015 Digital Impact Awards
Fresh Egg was more than a little excited to come away with not one but two silver awards after Wednesday night's (14 October 2015) Digital Impact Awards ceremony, held at the Grosvenor Square London Marriott.
Both accolades, for ‘Best Corporate Website’ and ‘Best Use of Digital in the Property Sector’, were awarded for the website relaunch for leading London property experts, Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward (KFH) - www.kfh.co.uk.
Digital Impact Awards
The Digital Impact Awards programme was established by Communicate magazine, the UK’s leading publication for corporate communications, and is one of the most prestigious awarding bodies in the industry. The event is in its sixth year and sets the industry-wide benchmark for companies in choosing agencies able to provide creative or strategic advice. The event honours the best corporate digital communications work in Europe.
KFH website relaunch project
The KFH website relaunched in May 2015, following extensive audience intent analysis around the KFH brand as well as rigorous user-testing at each stage of the design process. The clean and beautifully designed, user-centric site is fully responsive, adheres to brand guidelines and is compatible with the latest device types and screen resolutions.
The new site offers enhanced search functionality to enable its users to find properties in a number of ways, from ‘by school’ to ‘by tube/train station’ and includes an innovative ‘draw search’ allowing users to create their own search area on a map. Implementation of sophisticated Google Analytics tracking across the site has unlocked valuable intelligence around how user needs differ, affording KFH a new level of digital insight. Already, KFH’s key conversion goal of ‘contact a branch’ has increased by more than 23% since the new site’s launch.
Making the shortlist
It was announced back in August that Fresh Egg and KFH had made the award shortlists for the two categories entered. Others who met the “outstanding functionality” criteria set out by Digital Impact Awards and were in the running for ‘Best Corporate Website’ included Saab and SABMiller. In ‘Best use of Digital in the Property Sector’, Fresh Egg and KFH were up against the likes of Taylor and Wimpey.
Winners were chosen by a panel of judges that included Sita Aley, head of employee digital channels for Coutts, Toby Coffey, head of digital development for National Theatre and Matt Everitt, associate partner at IBM Interactive.
Fresh Egg’s commercial director, Sarah Tunstall, who attended the ceremony, says:
“We are delighted to have won the Silver Awards for both categories that we entered, particularly in view of the prestigious shortlists that we were part of. This is testament to the dedication, hard work and collaboration of the Fresh Egg and KFH project teams and their commitment to setting new benchmarks in audience-led design and development.
“We are looking forward to working with KFH to add further enhancements to their site moving forwards.”
KFH head of marketing and communications for, Anna Macleod, says:
“We have a website that delivers to our customers, delivers to our business on a practical level, and is true to our brand and place in the market. We’re incredibly proud of the end result and this recognition is the icing on the cake.”
