Ultimate Finance gets 70% faster with headless

In summary
Ultimate Finance needed to improve website performance and resolve issues caused by an outdated and inefficient CMS.
We rebuilt the website using a headless CMS to improve speed, usability and flexibility.
The result was a faster, more efficient website that improved user experience and made content management easier.
Challenge
Ultimate Finance’s existing WordPress website had significant performance and usability issues, with slow load speeds negatively impacting user experience and potential SEO performance.
The CMS was also heavily customised, making even simple content updates time-consuming and inefficient for internal teams.
There was a clear need to modernise the platform to improve performance, simplify content management and support future development.
Approach
We carried out SEO, UX and analytics audits to fully understand the limitations of the existing site.
Following this, we rebuilt the website using a headless CMS, combining WordPress with a Gatsby and React front end to improve performance and flexibility.
As part of the rebuild, we improved site structure for users, optimised assets and upgraded analytics to GA4, providing a stronger foundation for measuring performance and supporting ongoing optimisation.
Outcome
The new website delivered a significant improvement in performance, including a 70% increase in site speed. The updated platform now provides a faster, more dynamic user experience while also improving efficiency for internal teams managing content and development.
Enhanced analytics also offer clearer insight into marketing performance, enabling better decision-making and ongoing optimisation.
Ultimate Finance now has a scalable, futureproof website that supports both user experience and long-term digital growth.
