What to expect

Our hiring process

We want every candidate to have a positive, fair, and transparent experience. The exact process may vary slightly depending on the role, but here's what you can usually expect:
  1. Our recruitment team reviews applications we carefully assess applications against the role requirements. We'll look at your skills, experience, and potential.

  2. Initial telephone chat – if your application looks like a good match, we'll arrange a friendly chat to learn more about you.

  3. Hiring manager review – if you progress, your CV will be reviewed by the hiring manager.

  4. First interview (online) – we'll invite you to a video interview, giving us the chance to get to know each other to see if we're the right fit.

  5. Second interview (in person) – we'll invite you to our office. You'll usually be given a task in advance, with plenty of preparation time, so you can showcase your skills and approach.

  6. Conditional offer and pre-employment checks – if everything goes well, we'll make a conditional offer and agree a start date, subject to any background or reference checks.

  7. Welcome to Fresh Egg – once the checks are complete, we'll support you through onboarding and help you settle into life at Fresh Egg.

We don't use AI to screen or shortlist candidates. Every application is reviewed by a real person because we believe the personal touch matters.
