We’re looking for a dynamic and driven recruitment consultant with experience managing a temporary contingent or contractor workforce to join our growing Recruitment Services team.

This job role is a unique opportunity for someone who has worked in an internal or recruitment agency environment and is looking for the next stage in their career. If you no longer enjoy the sales element of your role but flourish building relationships with candidates and clients, this is the role for you. Fresh Egg is the first digital marketing agency in the UK to offer recruitment services to its clients. We help our clients hire permanent staff. We also place pre-vetted contractors into our clients’ businesses to work on projects ranging from web builds to complex, multi-channel digital marketing strategies.

Fresh Egg has many unique selling points for any organisation requiring support with recruitment. We have extensive experience building in-housing strategies for our clients and working with them to build the right operational structures and teams. And we have a team of experienced, specialist staff to help vet candidates at a detailed technical level, giving clients the confidence that candidates put forward by Fresh Egg are highly qualified for each role we take on.

You’ll be working with our experienced Head of Recruitment Services to identify and source exceptional candidates/talent for our clients. You’ll also help with internal roles as Fresh Egg continues to grow its team of talented digital specialists.

Skills, knowledge and experience…

We are looking for someone with natural confidence, a hunger to learn and the tenacity to find the best candidates in the market. Ideally you will have experience managing a temporary or contractor desk either in an inhouse or agency based role. You’ll love speaking to people and be comfortable initiating conversations with candidates and key stakeholders within our clients’ organisations. You should also be comfortable attending client meetings as and when required. You’ll be highly organised, proactive and comfortable working to targets. 

Responsibilities include:

  • To work with the Head of Recruitment Services to identify key candidate skills required for our contractor roster
  • To use existing database and contacts to identify suitable matches for open and future roles
  • To source new candidates from job sites, social media, and other platforms in conjunction with building up and using local market knowledge.
  • To proactively source candidates for hard-to-fill roles using social media and referrals
  • To screen candidates to identify skills and assess these against client requirements, enabling the correct talent to be suitably qualified and matched
  • To ensure we screen all candidates following the Employment Agencies Act and undertake appropriate pre-employment checks where necessary
  • To attend client meetings/calls when required to discuss any new or extension requirements
  • To obtain and manage all documentation required in line with contractor compliance requirements. Including maintenance of any expiring documentation
  • To maintain Fresh Egg approved roster and be proactive in sourcing candidates to be promoted via our website and socials
  • To identify contractor leads and work with the Head of Recruitment Services to generate new candidate and client opportunities
  • To maintain regular contact with candidates, build excellent relationships and ensure availability is kept up to date so that we have an accurate “live” database to work with
  • To maintain the candidate database and keep it accurate and up to date
  • To support with building candidate communities defined by specialism
  • To keep up to date with local market activity and trends, sharing any pertinent information to support the strategic development of Fresh Egg’s service offering
