Fresh Egg Breaks New Ground Becoming an Optimizely Platform Certified Partner
Fresh Egg is delighted to announce that it has become one of the first digital agencies to become an Optimizely Platform Certified partner.
Building on our existing reputation for Conversion Optimisation (CRO) – Fresh Egg is already one of just six agencies in the UK to be certified partners – our digital marketing specialists have now passed Optimizely’s own exam allowing Fresh Egg to achieve the status of Platform Certified partner.
This further accreditation now means that, in the words of Optimizely’s partnership program, Fresh Egg has “executed optimisation campaigns to the highest standards and made our joint customers most successful”.
Duncan Heath, our Director of Search and Strategy, and one of Fresh Egg’s exam entrants, said: “The exam included some tricky questions, but as we have been using the software across a wide range of clients for over a year, we know it inside out. More than ever, our clients can be assured that we can get the most out of the platform, and that we will have first access to new features and exclusive training.”
Fresh from our attendance at the Optimizely Roadshow 2014 – an event we were invited to by virtue of our certified partner status – this new achievement is further testament to our commitment to getting the best possible return on investment for our clients by giving them access to the best conversion optimisation tools and knowledge.

What we had to know
To gain the platform partner certification, our team of digital marketers had to pass Optimizely’s own exam. In it, our digital marketers had to demonstrate their knowledge of:
- Account hierarchy
- User management
- Optimizely snippet implementation
- Using the Optimizely Visual and Code Editor
- Traffic Allocation
- A/B Multivariate and Multi-Page Tests
To do this, they had to answer 60 multiple choice questions and to pass the exam score 80% or better.
Bringing success to clients
Even before our team passed the Optimizely exam, they have been using the tool to great effect. Using Optimizely, Fresh Egg increased the number of online finance form submissions by 51% for car and van leasing company Nationwide Vehicle Contracts, following A/B testing of different homepage designs.
And Fresh Egg plans to continue this great work, by continually applying itself to get even better results for our clients. And, as part of this commitment, Fresh Egg will gain Developer and Strategy Certification too, as soon as the programs are activated by Optimizely.
